Breeden’s Orchard

The Short Story

Person holding a copper bowl filled with peaches and green leaves in an orchard.

Who

We are the Dorfman family and friends. Growing delicious Tennessee peaches and apples that you just have to try.

A freshly baked apple pie with a lattice crust next to two red apples on a wooden surface.

What

A small female owned and operated orchard, store and bakery in the heart of Mt. Juliet. We hope that the love of what we are doing comes thru in our baked goodies.

An aerial view of a rural landscape showing fields, trees, and pathways, with some areas of cultivated land and patches of flowering trees.

Where

Located on the 2nd highest point in Mt. Juliet. We are about 25 minutes east of Nashville. We have amazing sunrises, incredible sunsets and normally a little breeze even on the hottest days.

When

The orchard opened in 1974 under the ownership of Tom and Marynell Breeden and their family. They ran it for many years before putting it up for sale in 2016. The Dorfmans purchased the orchard in 2017 and have spent the past 5 years becoming farmers.

Why

1. Because Mt Juliet didn't need a subdivision called Breeden's Acres.

2. Because there is something magical up here.
