FIELD TRIPS
Learning Grows Best On The Farm
At Breeden’s Orchard, we offer a hands-on, educational experience where children can explore a real working apple and peach orchard. Our field trips are thoughtfully designed to balance learning with plenty of farm fun, sparking curiosity and connection to where food comes from.
Best suited for Pre-K through 3rd grade (approximately ages 5–8), our programs welcome mixed-age groups and can be adjusted to fit your class’s needs. Teachers will appreciate engaging, age-appropriate lessons, kids will enjoy interactive exploration, and parents or chaperones can move at their own pace — whether that means diving into farm knowledge or relaxing with a coffee, fresh donuts, and a bit of shopping.
During the visit, children will learn about pollination and the role of bees, discover the life cycle of apples and peaches, walk through the orchard to observe fruit at different stages, and experience farm life through hands-on activities.
We offer school field trips for Pre-K through 5th grade, special Homeschool Days on select dates, and extended visits for groups looking for deeper, more immersive programming.
Bring your class to Breeden’s Orchard for a day of learning, exploration, and play — spots fill quickly, so we recommend reserving early.
