The Heart of Breeden’s Orchard
Since 1974, Breeden’s Orchard has been a gathering place for families across Middle Tennessee where community, food, and friendship come together under the orchard’s canopy. What started as a small local orchard has blossomed into a year-round destination known for its southern hospitality, handmade baked goods, and fresh-picked produce.
At the heart of it all is a shared mission: to preserve the charm of traditional farming while creating experiences that connect people to the land and to each other. Every pie, cider donut, and hayride is a reminder of why Breeden’s exists to make local flavor and genuine connection part of everyday life.
Meet the Faces Behind the Orchard
Aimee Dorfman – Owner & Culinary Visionary
Aimee brings the taste of Tennessee to life with her inspired bakery creations. From her beloved apple fritters to savory pizzas, a growing brand within the orchard that celebrates seasonal ingredients and creative comfort food. Aimee’s favorite season? Fall when the air turns crisp and the bakery fills with the scent of cinnamon, apples, and toasted pecans.
Michael Seale – Operations & General Manager
If you’ve met Michael, you know his friendly energy keeps Breeden’s running smoothly. He’s often the first to greet visitors, organize events, and ensure every guest feels like part of the orchard family. For Michael, the best part of the job is seeing kids’ faces light up at the Activity Yard or pizza nights. His favorite fruit? A perfectly ripe peach, picked straight from the tree.
Together, Aimee and Michael lead a team of bakers, farmhands, and local staff who share one goal: to create a place where people can slow down, savor good food, and enjoy the simple joy of being outdoors.
A Day in the Life at the Orchard
Each morning at Breeden’s starts early with the hum of coffee machines in the kitchen and the rustle of crates being filled for the market. By mid-morning, the smell of fresh donuts wafts through the air as the first families arrive to explore the orchard.
While the kitchen team prepares pies and breads, Aimee checks on the bakery, Michael coordinates the day’s events, and the farm crew tends to seasonal crops or sets up for weekend visitors. The day might end with a sunset over the peach grove or a pizza night filled with laughter and live music. Every day is different, but every day is grounded in care, craftsmanship, and community.
The Community Connection
Breeden’s Orchard isn’t just a farm it’s a cornerstone of Mt. Juliet’s local life. Aimee and Michael take pride in collaborating with schools, hosting family-friendly events, and supporting local artisans through the orchard market. From fundraisers to fall festivals, Breeden’s brings people together to celebrate what’s grown and made right here in Wilson County.
Whether it’s a class learning about apple pollination or a weekend visitor discovering a favorite jam, every experience deepens the orchard’s roots in the community it serves.
Why Our Team Loves Mt. Juliet
Ask anyone on the Breeden’s team, and you’ll hear the same thing Mt. Juliet feels like home. “It’s the people,” Aimee says. “Everyone knows each other and supports local businesses. That’s why this orchard thrives.”
Michael agrees: “We see the same families come back season after season. Watching kids grow up here that’s what makes this place special.”
Their passion for community, hospitality, and tradition is what keeps Breeden’s Orchard more than just a farm it’s a family destination rooted in love and local pride.
